We are in the final week of planning before we leave for the island. I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone (you know who you are) for all your hard work, dedication and commitment you have given to my project. I never would have been able to live this dream if it were not for all the caring people in my life. Thank you again. I am happy to say that my project has begun to get some press. First, a picture of a Work Weekend appeared in the Trenton Times. Now, an article about the project was featured in the Outdoor Sports Section of the New Jersey Star Ledger on March 21, 2004. Currently I'm finishing resource procurement and tool manufacturing. Any help with replications* or resource procurement will be greatly appreciated. Additionally, any information on possible donation sources will greatly aid in making this project a success, especially monetary ones. Currently, I need the following items:
* Please contact me for sketches, photographs, measurements, etc. prior to manufacturing anything for this project since we are following strict replication guidelines. Michael Nightingale digging cattail rhizomes.
